Family Ties
This short film, directed by Anderson West and set in the aftermath of the pandemic, follows Andrew, a well-meaning but out-of-practice father who sets out to reconnect with his teenage son, Nicky, during an overnight hike in the Peak District. While Andrew imagines a bonding experience grounded in nature and old-school adventure, the reality proves more complicated as Nicky’s world remains tethered to social media and digital distractions.
