Maryann is an expert on ancient Greek and Roman music and has done extensive research including a private visit to Pompeii, Sorrento. Maryann has lectured at Padua University on the subject and together with Michael write and consult for TV companies and programmes doing productions on that time period such as ‘Meet the Ancestors’ and ‘Time Team’.
An Ancient Greek and Roman music album was commissioned by Tim Parry - BigLife Publishing. Written with instruments that potentially could have been around, it was composed using rules the Greeks and Romans would have adhered to.
